Dr. Lariviere

Let me introduce myself...I am a dedicated educator with over two decades of experience in public education, 15 years of which have been spent in campus and district instructional leadership roles, and now have joined Tarkington ISD in 2022 as a campus administrator.  I quickly fell in love with the Tarkington Prairie community and elected to enroll my own school-aged children in the district. Braddock, 6th grade, and Maisyn, 4th grade, have flourished at Tarkington Elementary!  My husband Benjamin, who serves New Caney ISD as a head athletic trainer, and I recently celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary.  From a previous marriage, we also have a 23 year old son named Baret, who courageously serves our country as a Border Patrol agent in Laredo, TX.  I am motivated by the belief that by continuously seeking opportunities for growth and improvement there is no limit to what can be achieved. I am committed to partnering with stakeholders to model for our Tarkington Shorthorns what new heights are possible when we work boldly, intentionally, and with unity in the spirit of continued growth. I wish to express my gratitude and excitement for this opportunity to serve the teachers and students of Tarkington ISD as the principal of Tarkington Middle School. It is my sincere desire to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families to continue the strong traditions and standards of excellence of Tarkington ISD and Tarkington Middle School.
